But, he indicated that if Lebda isn't playing regularly in Detroit, he'll likely be sent to Grand Rapids. "When you're talking about players you have the ability to send down, if they're not playing here, why not send them down and let them play?'' Holland said. "If he's playing six-to-eight minutes (per game) here, maybe he's better off playing 25 minutes in the minors.'' If the Wings assign Lebda to Grand Rapids during the season, they must do it before he plays in 18 more NHL games, at which time he'll need to clear waivers to be sent down. "
