This is fun, malts, I like the debate.
.... Keep your friends close and your enemies closer, right?
Very valid points, malts. However, I think we would all agree that we can never overlook an overt threat made against our President.
If you say so, malts . But as I read and re-read your posts, it sure "sounds" like sarcastic personal attacks against UofI and its alumni/student body in general, and against Gov. Palin in particular. Don't get me wrong, I get sarcasm. But to me your comments read intentionally demeaning. If I'm wrong, so be it.
I didn't think "politics, history, geography, law...." were that different in Idaho then they were in Ann Arbor. Two plus two equals four from the East coast to the Left coast, no matter where you learn it.
See, now here is where you have to be careful again. This is your elitist professors' thoughts contaminating your open mind. The University of Idaho is not the Chic School of Cosmetology (not that there's anything wrong with that). It is a legitimate institute of higher learning. I don't think you mean to say that all presidents must matriculate at Ivy League schools, or Ann Arbor. What about Notre Dame, Boston College, Duke, Stanford? The list could (and should) go on and on, and include the likes of Texas (ewww), Florida (gasp), U of Idaho (shudder), or even, dare I say it, OHIO STATE (Oh, the humanity!!)
(Oh, and by the way, I really liked your "ex-beauty pageant winner and have a cute little accent". ;D)
Some might say (and studies may prove) that smoking pot may in fact significantly lessen the intelligence and effect of education received from a "top-notch" university. Who knows, may even lessen it to the level of a Western state's university.
Curiously, Obama admitted to drug use and poor studies/accomplishments during his college career. Sadly, those records were somehow magically barred from being made public. But I'm sure they would still rate higher than 170, eh?
.... 2. The United States has yet to put Venezuela the U.S. list of state sponsors of terrorism.

It is not a "personal attack or insult" it is a fact.

Sara Palin (2012 right?) graduated from the University of Idaho after attending two community colleges and graduated with a degree in Journalistm. The University of Idaho is ranked #170 of all colleges and universities in this country. Excuse me if I think that intelligence and education are important building blocks to leading a country. Knowledge in politics, history, geography, law... again, nice information to have when running a country.

An education from the University of Idaho is fine for a journalist, not fine for a potential president of the United States. Evidently that is something that is not important when you are an ex-beauty pageant winner and have a cute little accent.

Pot is smoked in Ann Arbor. In fact, Ann Arbor still hosts hash-bash the first weekend each April if anyone wants to attend. But atleast while smoking pot, we receive a top-notch education. Ranked #26.
