I would like to see Evans return as no one else brings what he does, and he is still very effective. If Nedomlel is in GR next season, Evans would be a good role model for the type of game he is projected to play. McIntyre had a disappointing season and will count against our number of veterans next season, so I would think he is iffy. Grant is an interesting case, as I think him not being in the lineup regularly affected the chemistry on the bench the latter part of the season...

Agreed on Evans. He brings a lot to the team, on and off the ice.

McIntyre has signed in Finland for next year. There was no room for him this year with the veteran rule so no surprise there.
Funny Stripe mentions Nedomlel because I had the same thought that Evans would be the perfect mentor for him.

By my count only hoggan and paecth are undercontract. So 3 more vet spots open. Any ideas who could sign? Someone like mcintyre who starts year under 260 games and isnt considered a vet maybe?
